How to Identify

WinVNC allows you to view the IP Address connected to your computer.

  • Locate the WinVNC icon on the bottom right-hand corner of the taskbar of your computer.
  • The icon may look like an eyeball.eyeball
  • Hover your mouse over the WinVNC icon. The IP address will appear temporarily in a small pop-up box.
  • If you do not see the icon, click the show hidden icon triangle in the bottom right-hand corner of the taskbar.
