There are many great resources for teachers to reference when planning to teach students about Internet Safety. LISD is a Google Apps for Education district. Google's Be Internet Awesome has some great resources for teachers.
Additional resources with content for all grades K through 12 include:
NetSmartz - a program of the National Center for the Missing and Exploited Children.
Common Sense Media - a nonprofit organization "dedicated to improving the lives of kids and families by providing the trustworthy information, education, and independent voice they need to thrive in a world of media and technology."
Professor Garfield Foundation - "is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) educational collaboration between Paws, Inc., the global headquarters for Garfield the Cat, and Ball State University, a nationally recognized leader in teacher training and digital education."
